Membership

nContinue to grow and diversify our membership with all professionals that work in and/or support a Utilities Industry business.

Increase membership beyond AEP by contacting executives from other utilities to promote WiNUP.

nCreate a Member Directory by using SharePoint of the WiNUP website.

nIncrease member participation by reviewing the membership list and encourage members to be more active such as personal invites to attend functions or participate in committees.
Mentoring
- nDevelop our members both personally and professionally.

nFocus on the creation of a group mentoring strategy which will allow participants to informally get to know each other and develop mentoring relationships.

nComplete the framework for a more formulized mentoring program where individuals will be matched up with mentors. This program should be constructed so that the 2009 committee will have a firm foundation upon which to build.
Marketing

Raise the profile of WiNUP within the organizations where we work and within the communities we touch

Create an Ohio Chapter Website with a link to the National Website.

Create a PowerPoint presentation with talking points about the organization that can be used as a marketing tool.

Provide the membership committee with a list of utilities in the greater Columbus area that can be solicited to join the organization.
